A San Diego based Construction Company with operations throughout Southern California currently has openings for Full Time DISPATCHER, in its Lakeside, California Division.


The duties for this position will include and not limited to performing physical labor for;

  • Answer phone calls/emails regarding orders.
  • Keep inventory of internal equipment and yard stock materials.
  • Assist customers and team members with scheduling all orders for material, equipment moves and field orders in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate timeline and equipment with field employees.
  • Route drivers efficiently.
  • Able to work around a constantly adjusting schedule and priorities.


Qualified candidates must possess the following special skills and or requirements to be considered for this position.Anchor

  • High School diploma,
  • 2 years of prior dispatch experience.
  • Construction or heavy equipment knowledge is a plus.
  • Computer literate, and ability to learn new software.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Geographical knowledge of the area is required.
  • Willing to take initiative and work as a team.
  • Be available to work Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40-50 hours per week. Work some weekends and after hours (OneCall) required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Always maintains confidentiality.
  • Contributes to building a positive work environment.
  • Must be able to successfully pass drug screen


  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Sage preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of HeavyBid preferred, but not required
