When I decided to start my own general engineering contracting business in 1974, my intent was to become more than just another construction company. I saw a niche for a dry underground utility placement company that would actually work hand -in-hand with its clients as partners. Professional experience, a commitment to excellence, and a willingness to seek out innovative yet cost-effective solutions to the challenges and opportunities were the characteristics I sought for people who wanted to work for me.
The passing years have been filled with examples of how the men and women of A.M. Ortega have fulfilled that goal, creating new ways to get the job done more efficiently and cost-effectively than before. "Partners in Progress" quickly became a watch phrase of our company, three words that speak volumes. For to be a true partner, one must consistently meet the daily challenges of staying on or ahead of schedule, keeping up with the latest trends in problem solving techniques, and, most importantly, keeping up an effective dialog of service with the client.
Our commitment to your job starts when we sign the contract and doesn't end until after your job is completed, often months after the last payment is made and the job is up an running. Simply put, we concentrate on maintaining construction crews led by experienced personnel well versed in a variety of cost-effective solutions to your dry underground utility needs.
