Maurice Ortega, a native of San Diego formed his company in 1974 with one backhoe. Today our company employs over 185 men and women between two branches and additional two satellite offices.

A certified minority owned company working in the dry underground utility field, and concrete / asphalt paving. AM Ortega specializes in underground electric; natural gas line installation and telecommunication, working with utility companies in the San Diego / Los Angeles / Northern California, San Bernardino, Las Vegas, Nevada, and several cities in Arizona.

The employees of A.M. Ortega have made excellent progress meeting our goals, creating new ways to get the job done more efficiently and cost effectively. With new technology being discovered every year, A.M. Ortega researches these new expanded ideas and work on implementation to provide our customers with maximum efficiency and always in the safest manner.
